Thanks Neil. I've done a couple of looong refits and buile a small craft or two, but I did all that without 2 kids. I'll be ready to get going on a boat once I can fing the proper house. I think a Tiki 38 would be perfect for my family.

I'm thinking should I sail down to your event from Exmouth? Would others join? Can we moor? Do we need to stop on route?

Who else sees June the 1st in Plymouth as a reason to cruise the south coast?

Hi Neil,

Tiki 38 "Tinto" is still on the guadiana river, but I did sell her to a very nice man named Ray o'Neill.

I do not know if he is there, he uses Tinto for holydays.

I did built the boat my self and launched her in 2007 in Alicante Spain.

We, me and my wife Thea lived on Tinto for 4 years and travelled that years between Mallorca and Panama.

The boat is lying just south of alcoutim where I built a mooring.

It is a pitty I am not meeting you on board of the tiki.

In the 8 years I've owned Tinto and the thousands of miles of sailing her, I did meet only one other tiki 38 which was the pilgrim in the Azores. (see the final crossing of the Pilgrim on you tube or on the wharrambuilders site).

I am now living in Holland again, where I am racing dinghys, just like in the past.

I hope you enjoy the river and the fabulous sailing area in the algarve.

Regards, Tom Haver
