Melvin,

Glad you made it. I think you might have better luck here than on eBay.

Thanks for the response,

Sounds like we may be able to strike up a deal.  I'm waiting on a sale of some property I own shortly and if not I'll make some other plan to get it.  Dumb question but how come this dream has changed hands so many times but can't get finished and put in the water?

Funny you should mention maybe a VW trade.  Sold my 1963 23 window 2 years ago, about one year ago I sold my baby, a Syncro Vanagon with a Subaru SVX motor (230 HP).  I'm finishing up a 71 tin top camper with another SVX engine.  Even sailor's need an Earth car.

I would make the boat detachable again and bring it back to the farm to finish.  "Sweet Pee", that's the boats name now will be in the water by next summer.

Thanks for the info.  And if you decide to come west I have a Spirit 28 monohull in San Diego.

I'll get it together soon and we'll do a deal.  Meanwhile If you want some deposit let me know so you don't sell it off to someone else.

Hi again,

If it works for you I'm going to try to break away from here after the first week in June to come have a look see.  Might have the 71 van going by then.  If not it well be my first long Motorcycle trip of the year.  Either way if early June works for you let me know.

Steve
