Hi Matias,
I have seen your Tanenui, you are doing a great job!
you are building outside, that is very difficult.

I am building this tanenui alone for somebody else since one year. He wanted a bigger cockpit, so I took the beams from Tiki 30 plan and made them a little bit smaller. The width over all will be about 4,4m. I think the Tiki 31 beams are more stronger.
I had to strengthen the Hull from the first to the last beam , because I am using only 3 beams. There will be a lashing system similar to the Tiki 30.
The owner will use a Tiki 30 Rigg with the mast 1 meter higher, but the sail area is the same.
There are only three beds inside but a little kitchen and a seperate toilet.
In the front and in the back nets. A small box for the anchor between 1st and 2nd beam. In the center the cockpit area (2,2 x 3,3 m).

Hi Matias!
I regularly check your site to follow your progress. Keeps me motivated though. Looking forward to see your boat ready.
I decided for the short bulwarks, because of the overall width of the hull. With the bulwarks I get now 126cm, so transporting side by side should be possible.
How do you plan to mount your bulwarks; I epoxied mine onto the hulls, made a fillet inside an glassed the whole lot.
Cheers,
Wolf
