"Yes. Much interest from pretty much all over the world. Unfortunately it's simply her size that deters most people. Large catamarans are not the ideal boat for keeping in a marina. But there is a lot of very strong go-anywhere boat looking for…"

"The netting is the stuff found on building sites, or more specifically industrial warehouse type sites and is used as safety netting when the roof is put on. I scrounged a net from a site and it was big enough to do the Tehini twice over. I was a…"

"Hello Anthony, Your Wharram is amazing! I was wondering what kind of netting you used, as I plan on using net from bow to stern on my Tiki 21 instead of the platform. Thanks!"

Tehini for sale

The sad day has arrived when I have to offer my beloved Tehini for sale. Wowie Zowie began in 2003 and is built from BS 1088 marine plywood and sheathed with the WEST epoxy system and finished with Epifanes 2-part poly-urethane paint. She has sitka spruce masts and is ketch rigged. We sailed her to the Canaries in September of 2013, then a 1500 mile circumnavigation of the Canaries and then back to the UK in April 2014. Unfortunately the big C has got me in its nasty paws and I have no choice…See More

Robert Sheridan replied to Anthony McLeod's discussion Regulator wiring diagram
"Our regulator has 2 output pins which are for allowing something to be powered directly from the wind generator/solar panels rather than via the battery (e.g. a light).  Our solar panels and windgenerator both have DC output so can not help…"

Profile Information

I am:
A home builder, I own a Wharram
What boat (s) are you building or do you own?
I have built (90% complete) a Wharram Tehini #138
Country, City, and State?
YNYSLAS, Wales, UK
About me or us?
I have built a Tehini using marine plywood and WEST epoxy system with sitka spruce masts and a small deck pod. She is bermudan ketch rigged and mostly complete. I need an engine of some sort and navigation instruments in order to complete my dream and make the rest of my dream come true!!!
Looking to?
I am looking to leave West Wales in May 2013 for the Canaries and all points south on a surfing, sailing, diving adventure and would like to sell either a 20% share of the boat or to attract enough crew with a few more pennies than I have in order to complete the vessel and stock up with provisions so that I do not have to spend another winter in the UK.
