was a good day in durban.got the beams almost ready for final painting.did you ge a sail in today.

Indeed it is Paul!  Yes Chris, I got a sail in.  Wind blew harder than I anticipated.  Was a slow trip out the harbour into the 10-15 knot wind with my 5hp motor.  Once out, it was a very wet sail!!  But still alot of fun.

hi arthur, seems to be less cold there than in uruguay...

could you please send more detailed pics from the motor and sepcecially how is it fixed?

Hi luis.  Please give me your email address.  I will take some detailed pics and send to you.  I don't like the complete assembly though... the builder designed with the intention of being able to lower the motor if needed via a pulley system, but this allows for too much vibration, so I have bound the back end on the cross beam.  Rear mounting of the motor gives extra cockpit space, but getting to the motor then becomes a problem.  Problem solved by fitting the rear decking as I have done!
