large sink in the corner has two outlets , one strait out ,the other for grey water collection to satisfy the overzealous law . it can double as ice box or just a storage when not in use . Cabin side are rough cut to leave some room for trimming ,so the roof fits perfect , still lots of cosmetics to do here , some trims and couple coats of resin over the tapings ,to make them smooth and invisibile . We will not paint the interior , but varnish it with 2pac clear varnish  wich is much tougher than paint , I like the wood look ,filets make it marine like ,less work too. once you put all your stuff in ,there is not much of the boat exposed... Cheers

Hi Zee, congratulations for your work, the pictures are realy nice. How many man hours are you expecting to spend in the finished boat?

I guess it will be very well finished!

thanks

Lorena

Lorena , there is always more hours spent on building any boat then estimated in the plans , much more . When working on my own boat ,I take it real easy , frequent breaks , often just sitting looking at the boat and dreaming  .Half of the fun with boats is building them , so I'm just enjoying while I can , but clocking lots of hours ,something that I never think about or care as long as the boat is finished nicely . When I started building my previous cat 52 footer , I was devastated when I realise how much work there is ahead . I kept thinking of all the jobs and stages of building and it got me down . Then an old salt builder told me the secret of big long projects , it goes like this ; - work on your boat every day ,even if is for 5 minutes ,that way you always in progress . next , - plan work only for one day , tomorrow , that way it feels like just one day of building all the time and is stress free , but if you have worked every day , one day you will run out of work and that is when the boat is finished. Simple ... it works for me
