Kavenga is ready to go, waiting in Sogwipo harbor (Jeju Island, Korea) for the crane to move her to the water. We could not launch her on March 3rd as planed because strong gusty winds made crane operations unsafe.

Uau...congratulations. Kavenga is a very "cool" boat. TikiRio coming son in Brazilian winter. See you in water. Good wind, and report the sailing to us.
a question, how many time you spend to assembly the boat? In harbor ?
Rogerio, we (6 people) spent 4 hrs on the basic assembly like hull alignement, crossbeams, cockpit, seats, mast and rigging on the moving day. After that we had to stop because it got dark and cold. Main problem was the fact that the ground was not even which made crossbeam attachment more difficult. On the next day we (2 people) spent 4 hrs on rudders, trampoline and mainsail, compass box, masthead navigation lights and other details. I must say we also often stepped back to look at our work and enjoyed the beauty of the moment.
Great, I wait anxiously this moment.
Thanks for all helps and exemples
Good Winds
Congratulations! Brings back memories... Lovely
It is always a great moment to see someone to actually get the boat on the water. All my respect and congratulations!
