In the fall of 2001, I shipped my Tiki 21 in a container to Ghana. I sailed it only 5 times out of Busua before discovering that the skegs and rudders were delaminating. The boat was beached in March 2002 and waited 11 years before being relaunched, this time from nearby Cape Three Points. This was its last sail in 2002.

That is a great shot, Rod! A surfing tiki!

Thanks, Kim. That was also a great sailing day, with four young Brits on board, one of whom had much more experience sailing a gennaker than I did and he did a great job of skippering us home through the surf. That is him at the tiller - unfortunately I do not recall his name.
