A Photo & Discussion Forum for Wharram Design Enthusiasts
13hrs on Sunday. 8am to 12, then 6 to 10pm tonight. Second primer on the decks tomorrow AM. This boat will float this weekend - "on a mission".
I cannot imagine the work involved in on a boat >Tiki21! Respect to the big boys.
What kind of strips do you have on the keel?
When I bought the boat it had one brass strip and one plastic. The brass strip was coming away, so I replaced it. I bought a new plastic strip. HDPE I think. I epoxied it on, fixing with a few screws. I then fitted stainless screws into countersunk holes. I dipped the screws in epoxy as I fitted them. It looks good, time will tell.
