14th February 2011 - we bought the hulls and beams lying sadly in a bus company yard. The hulls were based on a Wharram Tiki - but made from Epoxy and Glass. The beams are laminated saligna embedded in boxes filled with flexibl epoxy. We thought it would take our family/crew working full time 3 months- it is almost November and we are not so sure anymore....

Sounds like my tiki 46, I thought it would take me 4-6 months to renovate. I am now on month 13 and still have a few months to go!

This shows that there are no short cuts in boat building/maintenance. If you take responsibility, you see something and focus on it. You find the best solution and implement it. Then you see another detail. It seems that our awareness is growing all the time, and so does the list of 'to do jobs'. I am in the same situation. See newest pics (today 2.2.2012).

I have developed selective blindspots, otherwise i would go mad with all the little imperfections.
