Clamps are apllied at the position of each spacer block. The brass pins used to keep the blocks from sliding are anly on one side of the blocks. There are no intermediate blocks to bend the tiller around, so the final curve is controlled by the clamping blocks at each end. This method permits the tiller to be glued in a single setup and will produce tillers with a consistant curve.
