Beautiful! That's exactly what I also had in mind. However, I have changed my plans and I am now fitting Phefo as a square rigger. Never mind. Google Maltese Falcon to see how it looks and works.

Hi David and Julie.

Erica and I are setting up to build a Tehini this next summer. We are currently working out the interior layout and changes needed for us to live aboard. I like the bi wing rig, our little boat has a junk rig and we like it very much. So much that we want to have the bi wing junk rig on the big boat. I i might ask a few questions as to the setting of the masts in the hull and placement for and aft? We will be making our own sails again (we being Erica. I will be making all the blocks and such) and would love some input on not only the rig but the sailing of the rig. Does she self tack, how much tending, how does she point, disadvantages, advantages, sail handling, mast butt diameter or an unstayed mast, sailing with one sail, length of mast to boat, depth of sail to boat, line handeling? Etc. Etc. thank-you in advance.
