Sri Lankan fishing Proas.

These traditional Sri Lankan sail powered fishing "trawlers" use the wind to power their fishing by towing nets behind the boats. The Proas always sail with the wind on one side so that when they want to change direction in order to sail in the opposite direction, they simply stop, change the setting on the sails/dagger boards and rudders and the stern becomes the bow! No need to tack or gybe to change direction!
Keep it simple stupid - KISS.
