Hallo Hans

Although I've not yet finish to put all the pieces for its fixation, here is a general view of the bottom :

In order to have the fore deck easy to transport and after to maintain it easily, it is not screwed directly on the longitudinal beams, there are no screw heads on the deck. The planks are maintain together in 4 parts with pieces of wood screw below the deck, and this pieces of wood avoid them to move sidewards.

To avoid front or back movements I screw that at 4 different places :

Her is the detail of the ends of the longitudinal beams :

I made a slight notch with a rubber strip to avoid to damage the main beams and to avoid sidewards movements I'll glue little wood stops on each end side. On the photo you can see where they will be glued.

I put a free space of a minimum of 12mm all around the deck to avoid all contact with the hulls : the deck is completely independent from the hulls

Cheers Bertrand

I've just forgot to say due to the very high tension generated in twisting the ropes even with 50 people standing on the fore deck, there will be no lashing slack.
