<p>i found the zipper pocket a problem when lowering the sail. i had to pull down hard on the pocket to lower the sail. you have no advantage when lowering unlike raising it. we removed the pocket and installed rope "hoops " which worked great. this eliminated the friction of the pocket. if you spray the inside of the pocket with sailkote or some dry lube very well at the beginning of the session it works ok for 4 months or so.</p>
