Fishing is a big part of my passion for the sea, and the options around here in the Baltic sea, has declined so rapidly, that we’ve finally decided to pass on this boat to the next.

This boat has completely lived up to my hopeful expectations of what a Wharram is, but what suits us better, is a doublecanoe, that is small enough to be driven to distant fishinggrounds.

We bought, “Remu”, from the builder, in Finland and then sailed her to Bornholm.
We made the journey in may, during days when stormy weather hit, and felt that we truly experienced the power of this boat. Speed record of 13,8 knots, down a 4 meter wave, but over long stretches going 8-9 knots steadily. A quality build, which appears to be easily sailed.

She’s in need of TLC, constantly really, but also more than I’ve been able to give her during the past year, but overall healthy and strong. I wouldn’t hesitate, in taking it to wherever in europe, if i had the time. But sadly i do not.

The boat has the original rig, and all sails, more than decent, as far as i can tell.

It is powered by a 9,9 hp Yamaha, which has run approximately 80 hours, and moves the boat along at 6 knots.

She’s 35 years old, but was completely refitted by the builder, before we bought her 4 years ago.
The stainless steel railing, was constructed by himself, and has been something that we’ve appreciated greatly in adding a sense of security for our children. For us, a great addition to the design.

Wired with LED-lights and usb-charging facilities, that worked fantastically last spring, therefor only minor repair needed-  i would think.

The attention required has not been disguised in any way. And our asking price is set accordingly at 5000 euro.

Along with the boat comes a small fibre-dinghy, 20 or so editions of the Seapeople Magazine, and a copy of “Two girls two catamarans”.
