Looking to get a 30yo tiki26 that's been on the dry for a few years.

it needs a fair bit of refit work,

is it safe to assume the boat will not need much maintenance work for a few years after a major refit?

I built Tsunamichaser 15 years ago. Used the best plywood, Doulas Fir and SystemThree Silveryip epoxy. No rot ever anywhere as I’m constantly taking care of her - it’s easier than a major refit. She lives in the water full time. I’ve only hauled her once about ten years ago. Now if I need to do anything it’s on the beach. Constant love is better than long periods of neglect and then trying to make up!
