I’m currently building a tiki 30 in the Tampa Bay Area.   I have gotten plywood from “World Panel products” on the east coast.   They are a bit expensive but have good inventory.   I have also used “Chesapeake Bay Light Craft”, CLC.   I found them to be very reasonably priced and personable, shipping was little higher coming to Florida though.

i have had good success with Raka epoxy.   I have also used West System available at West Marine and the Fiberglass Coating brand available from St. Petersburg Area.

are there any other tiki 30 builder out there....I have questions.

Hey Jeff,

How far along are you into your build? My girlfriend loves my Tiki 21, but we are thinking about building a 30 down the road and would love to see one in person. We will be down there in St. Pete for New Years.

Hey Brad,

as I write this I have a few of the small parts complete.   I have nothing that looks like a boat yet.   I do have a set of tiki 30 plans that I would be happy to let you review.

‘’I also have my tiki 26 ready to go at a moments notice.   She is 15 years old and in better than new shape.  I was weened on a Hobie 16 and sail her just as aggressively lol…yes, Wharram’s can fly a hull!!!!

we live in the Dunedin area and would be happy to talk boats with you any time.  Let us know when you are in the area.

Hey Jeff,

I'm down in St Pete for the next month or so, and I would love to check out your 26/go for a sail if you are still interested.

Hey Brad…your timing is excellent.   I am just finishing up some maintenance work on the 26 this week.   She will be looking good and ready to sail with the next warm weather.  We will sail 0n almost any nice afternoon.
